Make

Make is a visual automation platform, part of the process mining company Celonis, for building workflows called scenarios and AI agents across 3,000+ apps. Work is billed in credits, and most module actions use one credit. Maia, its conversational builder, turns plain-language requests into scenarios you can inspect and edit.

Key features

Visual scenario builder

Place modules on a canvas and join them with routers, filters and iterators so every data path stays visible.

Maia by Make

A conversational assistant that builds scenarios and agents from natural language while the logic appears in the builder.

Make AI Agents

Agents reason, decide what to do next and trigger real scenarios, showing each decision in a Reasoning panel on the canvas.

Make MCP Server

Connects your AI assistant to your Make scenarios so it can run them as tools from wherever you work.

Make Code App

Runs custom JavaScript or Python inside a scenario, billed at 2 credits per second of code execution time.

3,000+ integrations

Standard connectors for over 3,000 apps, 350+ AI apps, custom apps and access to 300+ Make API endpoints on paid plans.

Use cases

  • Watch a Google Sheet for new rows, enrich each lead with an AI module and create deals in your CRM.
  • Ask Maia to draft an invoice-processing scenario, then adjust each module by hand on the canvas.
  • Let a Make AI Agent triage support tickets and pause for manual approval on uncertain cases.
  • Chain subscenarios so a long, multi-department process stays readable and maintainable.

Pricing

Pricing from
$10.59/month

Free includes 1,000 credits a month. For 10,000 credits a month, Core costs $10.59, Pro $18.82 and Teams $34.12, or $9, $16 and $29 respectively on annual billing. Enterprise pricing is custom.

Ways to save

  • Annual billing saves 15% or more, lowering Core from $10.59 to $9 a month at 10,000 credits.
  • Router and error handler modules consume no credits, so branching and error handling cost nothing extra.
  • Free plan users get a 30-day Maia trial that includes 45 free messages.
  • If you run short mid-month, buy extra credits in bundles of 1,000 or 10,000 instead of moving up a tier.

What is Make?

Make builds automations as visual scenarios. Each module in a scenario reads, creates or transforms data in an app, and routers, filters and iterators shape how records flow between them. Scenarios run on a schedule, instantly through webhooks, or as subscenarios called by other scenarios.

Plans at a glance

Paid tiers are priced by the credits you buy, from 10,000 up to 8 million a month, and every tier includes the same 3,000+ apps.

  • Core adds unlimited active scenarios, scheduling down to the minute and Make API access.
  • Pro adds priority execution, custom variables and full-text execution log search.
  • Teams adds team roles and shared scenario templates; Enterprise adds custom functions and on-prem access.

Limitations

The Free plan caps scenario runtime at 5 minutes and file size at 5 MB, which rules out heavier jobs, and paid scenarios still stop at 40 minutes. Make AI Agents and AI Web Search were labeled beta on the pricing page in September 2026. A single run can consume anywhere from two credits to thousands, so loops over long lists get expensive fast.

Make FAQ

Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and includes 1,000 credits a month, the visual builder and 3,000+ apps, but allows only 2 active scenarios and a 15-minute minimum gap between scheduled runs.

A credit is Make's billing unit. Each module action, such as reading a record or adding a spreadsheet row, uses one credit; some features that use Make's AI Provider cost more, and routers and error handlers are free.

Scenarios stop until credits are added. Make notifies you at 75% and 90% of your allowance, queues incoming webhooks up to your storage limit, and lets you upgrade, buy extra credits or auto-purchase 10,000 on paid plans.

No separate fee. Paid plans have unlimited access to Maia, which draws on your Make credits, plus free messages during the first 30 days of use. Free plan users get a 30-day trial with 45 messages.

Make is part of Celonis, the process mining and execution management software company, and operates offices across Europe, Asia and the US.
