Frase
Frase is an AI content platform from Frase for SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO). It researches topics, drafts and scores articles, publishes them to your CMS, and tracks whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI cite your pages. A rebuilt Frase app now runs alongside the legacy editor, aimed at content marketers, SEO teams and agencies.

Scores new drafts and existing pages both for Google rankings and for their chances of being cited by AI engines.
Monitors daily whether ChatGPT and Google AI cite your brand; Professional adds Perplexity, and Scale adds Claude and Gemini.
Spots published pages losing Google rank or traffic, writes the revision and republishes it once you approve.
Publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity or Wix, or hosts posts on FraseCMS, free up to 100,000 page views a month.
Runs Frase from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or a terminal, with 5,000 to 50,000 requests a month depending on plan.
Use cases
- Turn a target keyword into a researched, on-brand draft and push it straight to WordPress.
- Audit existing pages and fix the ones with the weakest SEO and GEO scores first.
- Ask Claude through the Frase MCP connector where your brand shows up in AI search.
- Refresh a blog post that is slipping in Google before its traffic falls further.

What is Frase?
Frase describes itself as a content operating system for AI search. Its workflow runs as a loop: listen to Search Console data and visitor questions, create content, publish it, monitor Google rankings and AI citations, then fix pages that slip.
New Frase vs Legacy Frase
Frase rebuilt its product around that loop. The new app lives at next.frase.io, while Legacy Frase stays available at app.frase.io for anyone who has not migrated. Legacy “Rank-Ready Credits” became Article Credits, and credits now reset on your billing date instead of the 1st of the month.
Limitations
There is no free plan, and Starter is limited to 1 seat, 1 site and 10 articles a month. Reporting history is short on lower tiers: Starter shows current data only and Professional keeps 3 months. Frase also says plainly that no tool will get you ranked or cited inside a 7-day trial, so judge results over weeks, not days.
