Lindy bills every active user a Team seat, from $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits, with bigger steps such as $99.99 for 15,000 and $199.99 for 35,000, plus custom Enterprise. New users can try it with $50 in credits for 7 days, no card needed. Extra workspace credits cost $10 per 1,000.

Ways to save

  • New users get $50 in credits for 7 days without a credit card, and teammates who join through Slack get a one-time 7-day trial before their seat is billed.
  • Purchased top-up credits carry over and never expire, unlike plan credits, which reset each billing cycle.
  • Admins can cap how many credits any one person draws, so a single heavy user cannot empty the shared pool.

What is Lindy?

Lindy calls itself an AI employee. Rather than an app you open, it sits in your team’s Slack, links to each person’s email, calendar and phone number, and returns finished work: answers with sources, drafted replies, meeting notes, scheduled reports and hosted dashboards it builds as artifacts.

How it is sold

Everyone who uses Lindy takes a seat, including anyone who @mentions it in Slack for the first time. All seats feed one credit pool that the workspace shares, and every plan, trial seats included, can use any of the supported models. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM, audit logs and HIPAA with a signed BAA.

Limitations

  • There is no free plan, and seats can be created automatically when a colleague mentions Lindy in Slack, so admins need to watch seat counts.
  • Plan credits do not roll over; only purchased top-ups carry forward.
  • Removing a seat takes effect at the end of the paid cycle, with no mid-cycle proration.
  • The shared teammate experience is designed around Slack, with iMessage and the Gmail extension serving the personal assistant instead.

Lindy FAQ

No permanent one. Lindy's pricing page lists Team seats from $49.99 per user per month and custom Enterprise, but new users get $50 in credits for 7 days without a credit card, and someone who joins a workspace by mentioning Lindy in Slack gets a 7-day trial.

Credits measure the work Lindy does and are worth about one cent each. Everyday asks use 2–250 credits, deep work 250–1,000 and big builds 1,000–2,500. Each seat adds its allowance to one shared workspace pool.

Lindy pauses credit-using actions and tells you rather than billing an overage. Work resumes when credits reset next cycle, or sooner if an admin tops up at $10 per 1,000 credits or moves to a bigger plan.

No. Anything with outside impact, such as sending an email, updating a ticket, posting in another channel or publishing a doc, waits for your approval. Read-only lookups from approved sources run without asking.

Every active user is billed a Team seat. The smallest seat costs $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits, and larger steps include $99.99 for 15,000, $199.99 for 35,000 and $399.98 for 70,000. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM and HIPAA at a custom price.
