What is Recraft?

Recraft is a web-based design studio with iOS and Android apps that share credits and projects with the browser version. It is built around its own models, which output both raster images and editable vectors, and it also offers external image and video models on the same canvas.

What stands out

Limitations

The Free plan is mainly for testing, since its images are public and cannot be used commercially. Monthly subscription credits don’t roll over, top-ups are sold only to paid users, and video generation in the mobile app is limited to subscribers. Teams need at least two seats, and each member’s monthly credits cannot be shared.

Yes. The Free plan includes limited credits that reset daily, up to three image uploads a day and two images per prompt. Free images appear in the public community gallery, belong to Recraft and are not licensed for commercial use.

On a paid plan, you do: subscribers get full ownership and commercial rights, and images stay private even after cancelling. Free-plan images belong to Recraft, and on every plan Recraft assets may not be used to train AI models.

It depends on the model and action. Generation and most edits cost the selected model's price, vector models cost more than raster ones, and AI Chat messages get pricier as a conversation grows longer.
